Oghma is the English Editorial Society of Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. The word ‘Oghma’ originates from Irish and Scottish mythology, which means knowledge, inspiration, invention and the higher power of the Bards. The society imbibes these values in its creative process of nurturing writers with commitment and care. It is one of the oldest extra-curricular societies in the college and has grown to become a chamber for channelling prowess in all forms of creative writing.

 

The society resonates with a myriad of young thinkers whose dreams and imagination reflect on paper. It is the cove for anyone with a passion for literature, art, creative expression, or even simply something worth being spoken into existence. It continues to be led by brilliant young women who are searching for their purpose, one rhyme at a time.
