The following poem depicts the feeling of warmth when people return home after a long journey. It is symbolic of the arduous journey that the migrants of our country had to face while returning to the sanctuary of their home.

The winding path with gravel beneath,

shielded with blossoms in shades aplenty,

encasing the yard like a merry wreath,

never leaving your heart empty.

The door stands ajar, pearly gates of heaven,

the warmth of a thousand lovers’ kiss

flooding out, my pace quickens,

the home is where the heart is.
