Walking through the lanes,

surrounded by different worlds,

I often get lost

and struggle to return.

The sweet smell and the sound

of the pages I turn

bring my soul to peace

and make my imagination run.

Down the rabbit hole I slip,

and emerge on Gulliver's row,

one day I follow Sherlock,

on another, with Twist I woe.

Even when reality calls me back,

my mind continues to ponder,

thinking which book to pick next,

around the bookshelves I wander.
