The spell of winters
soothes my soul,
as with every icy night,
I feel whole.
There’s something about the fog and the mist
that casts a magical spell,
that croons out the tale I tell.
It is the type of coldness that numbs my bones
yet warms my heart
and that’s the magic of winters
that casts a spell over my soul.
